When I retired, I didn’t know whether to pursue my interests in writing or acting. This performance allows me to pursue both. In the summer of 1973, after completing one year of college, my parents said they lacked the funds for me to return my sophomore year. I needed a job! That summer I learned more about the real world when I was hired as a bus girl at Marco’s fine dining in Leisure World.

This summer I needed a band! The show features music by The Gone Boys, starring Terry Plowman & bandmates Mike Long and Steve Wilson. I was fortunate to have written a few articles for Terry’s popular Delaware Beach Life Magazine, but when I learned he had another vocation too, I decided to ask him to play along. The Gone Boys were regular performers at The Front Page in Rehoboth from 1984 to 1993.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you:

The school girl, the scandal and the scoundrel or Everything I learned in life I learned as a waitress.

Ticket cost: $10, payable at the door.
